Meet the Maker
Hi, my name’s Carissa, and I’m the owner of theCNDLcompany! I am a second-year law student (2L) at UW-Madison. I started crocheting in February 2023 when I had to spend a few weeks on the couch recovering from a parathyroidectomy, and I was instantly obsessed. I started crocheting anywhere from 4 to 10 hours a day for weeks straight, quickly advancing my skills. I started selling in April 2023 and was lucky enough to get a seasonal vendor spot at the Appleton Farmer’s Market for the 2023 summer. The rest, as they say, is history!
When I’m not crocheting (or studying), I enjoy spending time with my family. I live in Madison, Wisconsin, with my husband and our dog, Winnie. We frequently visit our family in Appleton, Wisconsin, as well. We enjoy travelling, camping, hiking, and watching NFL and NBA games together. If I’m at home, I always have the TV on playing a broad range of shows or movies from comedies to medical dramas to thrillers. Law and Order: SVU is my current favorite!
